MDGC Aussie Disc Golf Day
What:
Aussie Disc Golf Day is a series of events held all around Australia in a single weekend, which is aimed at encouraging new players to join the awesome sport and community that is Disc Golf, and also allowing players to (virtually) compete with others in their division for the top spot in the country!
MDGC will host a low cost, no frills version of the event at Ruffey Lake on Sunday September 22nd. It will be just $10 for two (PDGA rated) rounds, starting at 8am and finishing at around lunchtime, with spaces capped at 36. You’ll be able to choose to enter one of 15 different divisions, so you can compete with peers across the country. But we will also be running some simplified divisions with prizes on the day – think along the lines of our regular Social Days.
When: Sunday 22nd September, 2024 @ 745 am.
Where: Ruffey Lake Park, Doncaster
Details: 2 Rounds of the standard Ruffey Lake course with first round at 8am and second round ~1030am.
Registration Cost: $10 – Juniors, Amateurs & Pro – Please choose your division using the dropdown variations. Refer to PDGA for guidance on Division selection.
Offered Divisions – that will be included in the Australia wide virtual competition:
Pro: MPO, FPO, MP40
Mixed Amateur: MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, MA40, MA50
Female Amateur: FA1, FA2, FA4, FA40
Juniors: MJ15 or FJ15

Note that registrations close Sept 15th, if event doesn’t fill before hand. Refunds will only be issued prior to Sept 15th as MDGC shop vouchers to minimise transaction fees for the club.
